Impeachment Against Former President Trump Moving Forward Today

WASHINGTON – House Democrats are set to deliver Articles of Impeachment against former President Donald Trump to the Senate on Monday.

This move will formally start Trump’s second impeachment trial, but last week Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell agreed to delay it until February 9.

This gives the House Impeachment Managers and Trump’s Legal team two weeks to prepare for arguments.

“The House managers will come to me. The Articles of Impeachment at 7 p.m. on Monday, that’s January the 25,” said Schumer on Sunday. “Then on the 26, members will be sworn in to sit for the trial. Cause remember the senators are jurors, the House is like the prosecutor and the Senate is like jurors.”

The former President is accused of “Incitement of Insurrection” in the January 6 breach of the Capitol Building by his supporters.

  1. Anyone who has looked at this knows its a revenge tactic, a distraction so Congress/Senate don’t have to face the real issues of the nation.

Americans are sick and out of work. They are worried how they are going to heat their homes, pay their bills, feed their families, and their children’s education.

    He’s gone, move on

Trump still has a HIGHER approval rating than either Congress or the Senate.

They are acting like a jealous, vindictive, ex.
