FORESTVILLE – The Chautauqua County Fire Investigation team is now looking into what caused an overnight house fire in Chautauqua County.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says a total of 16 different departments from across the area were called to 9171 Ball Hill Road in the Town of Villenova just before midnight Friday.

The massive response, crews say, was because of cold temperature and lack of water to fight the flames.

The departments worked throughout the night and into the morning to quell the flames.

All occupants in the home were able to evacuate and no injuries were reported.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the cause and origin of the fire.
