POLAND – A Falconer woman is facing charges following a crash on Sprague Hill Road in the Town of Poland last week.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office say 56-year-old Patricia Bloomgren was driving northbound on the roadway last Tuesday night when she swerved to avoid a perceived obstruction.

Her vehicle then continued down an embankment, crashing in a ditch.

Bloomgren was transported from the scene by EMS personnel for non-life-threatening injuries.

Through investigation deputies say Bloomgren was operating her vehicle with a suspended driver’s license.

She was subsequently issued traffic tickets for second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to keep right.

Deputies say Bloomgren will appear in the Town of Poland Court at a later date to answer to the above charges.
