MAYVILLE – Next week’s State of the County address is slated to focus on the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact in the Chautauqua region.

That’s according to Chautauqua County Executive PJ Wendel who will give his first State of the County address on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

Wendel says the pandemic has changed the way his office looks at services countywide.

“My State of the County address will focus on the impacts COVID-19 has had on County Government operations, and our economy and residents,” said Wendel in a statement. “It will also highlight my priority initiatives as by working together, we can move forward and build back stronger than ever after COVID-19.”

The presentation will be held during the regular meeting of the County Legislature.

The speech can be watched live on the Chautauqua County Government Facebook page.
