JAMESTOWN – Appointments for two mass COVID-19 vaccination sites in Chautauqua County are now full.

According to the Chautauqua County Health Department, the first site will open at SUNY Fredonia’s Steele Hall Ice Rink on Saturday.

The next site will take place Tuesday at Jamestown Community College Phys Ed Complex.

Those eligible will need to make an appointment online at chqgov.com. As of 12:30 p.m. all spots were filled.

“As vaccine supply increases, sites like the SUNY Fredonia campus with large, open venues and ample parking will be necessary to accommodate the number of people we anticipate needing to vaccinate,” said Chautauqua County Public Health Director Christine Schuyler in a statement.

On Wednesday SUNY Fredonia announced they entered an agreement with the county health department to host a site at their college. SUNY JCC previously held a vaccination clinic at its gymnasium.
