11 Chautauqua County Government, Business Leaders Recognized

MAYVILLE – Eleven leaders in Chautauqua County government and business sectors have been recognized for their work.

In government, Chautauqua County Executive PJ Wendel was among State Assemblyman Andrew Goodell and State Senator George Borrello who were named in the top 25 of Buffalo Business First “Power 250” list.

Wendel says he is honored and very proud of the county for making a positive impact.


“For a smaller county like Chautauqua to have eleven individuals recognized for their leadership and impact on our region demonstrates the caliber of our many community leaders,” said Wendel. “Congratulations to our Chautauqua County leaders being recognized for the great work they do each and every day.”

From the business sector, the CEO of The Resource Center, President and CEO of Lake Shore Savings Bank and Plant Manager of Cummins’ Jamestown Engine Plant were also recognized.

Additionally, the CEO of the Gebbie Foundation, President and CEO of Heritage Ministries and President of the Chautauqua Institution made the list.



The President and CEO of Hart Hotels as well as the founder of The Krog Group were recognized for their work opening the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel in Celoron as well.
