ALBANY — The attorney representing one of Governor Andrew Cuomo’s accusers is detailing concerns about the state’s Attorney General investigation into the governor.

Charlotte Bennett’s attorney Debra Katz expressed concerns in a letter Monday that senior aides to the governor may be conducting their own ‘parallel review’ of accusations against Cuomo.

The letter referenced an Albany Times Union report on the matter.

Katz writing that Cuomo’s attorneys may be ‘debriefing’ staffers after their interviews with investigators, something the attorney calls “highly improper.”

She objects to the interference of what is supposed to be a ‘thorough and independent’ investigation.

Since December, seven women have spoke out against the embattled Governor, accusing him of sexual harassment.
