Investigators Probe Cause Of Overnight Gerry Fire

GERRY – Fire investigators are looking into what caused an overnight blaze in the Town of Gerry.

The Gerry Fire Department was called to 5172 Herrick Road just after 2:30 a.m. Tuesday for a house fire.


Firefighters from Kennedy, Falconer, Sinclarville and Ellery also responded to the scene along with the county’s Emergency Services.

Crews battled the blaze for around three hours.

It is unclear if anyone was injured as a result of the blaze.



Fire dispatch reports indicated one person was taken to UPMC Chautauqua Hospital. WNY News Now is working to confirm that report.
