Chautauqua County’s COVID-19 Vaccinations Reach 46,000 Residents

JAMESTOWN – Over the past month more than 26,000 people living in Chautauqua County have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

According to updated numbers on the state’s COVID-19 vaccine tracker over 46,000 residents, 37 percent of the total population, are vaccinated with at least one dose.


More than 29,000 residents, 23 percent of residents, are now fully vaccinated.

In Cattaraugus County, 30 percent of the population, 23,000 residents, have received their first dose of the vaccine.

Regionally, 496,000 people in Western New York are vaccinated. This as the region’s COVID-19 positivity rate remains the highest statewide.



The seven-day average now sits at 4.9 percent, up just from Friday. Chautauqua County’s positivity rate is at 2.6 percent.
