JAMESTOWN – A 24-year-old machete wielding Jamestown man is behind bars following a domestic dispute over the weekend.
Jamestown Police say Angel Figueroa was taken into custody at a Barrett Avenue address early Sunday morning.
It is alleged Figueroa, while armed with a machete, prevented anyone from leaving the location.
Figueroa, police say, had an order to stay away from the residence and victim who lives there.
He is charged with second-degree criminal contempt and second-degree unlawful imprisonment.
