Man Arrested Following Saturday Night Assault In Jamestown

JAMESTOWN – A 38-year-old man was arrested following a Saturday night assault in Jamestown. 

Jamestown Police allege William Morse repeatedly struck a man in the head with a metal cane at an address on Fulton Street.

Morse, police say, was arrested following an investigation where officers reviewed a video recording that documented the alleged incident.  


Morse is charged with second-degree assault.  

Police say he was transported to Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment in the case.
