JAMESTOWN – A 33-year-old Jamestown man is behind bars following a domestic dispute at UPMC Chautauqua Hospital this month.

Jamestown Police say officers responded to the hospital’s parking lot around 2:30 a.m. on April 16th for a reported dispute.

Through investigation it is alleged Matthew Carr violated an order of protection to stay away from a 23-year-old woman who was at the hospital.

Carr was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal contempt.

Since then, he was held in custody at the Chautauqua County Jail.
