Woman Charged With DWI Following Vehicle Crash At Local Convenience Store

WEST ELLICOTT – A 58-year-old woman is charged for allegedly driving while intoxicated following a crash at a West Ellicott convenience store this week.

Town of Ellicott Police say officers responded to a motor vehicle crash just after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the 575 Convenience Store on Fairmount Avenue.

Through investigation it is alleged that Jody Ingersoll was intoxicated when she crashed her vehicle.


After a field sobriety test was administered, officers performed a chemical test to verify their suspicions.

Police say Ingersoll is charged with driving while intoxicated.

She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ellicott Court on a later date.
