JAMESTOWN – Two City of Jamestown residents are accused of breaking into and then trashing a local church.

Jamestown Police say 33-year-old Adam Morrison and 19-year-old Mackenzie Kepler were arrested after allegedly breaking into the Thrift Store at St. James Church on Institute Street Tuesday night.

Police say the duo forced open a locked storm door gaining entry to the facility.

While inside it is alleged the pair left garbage all over the building and defecated on the walls and floors.

Both were arrested and charged with third-degree burglary and third-degree criminal tampering.

Kepler, police say, was separately wanted on an unrelated burglary charge.
