MACHIAS – Five people are facing drug charges in connection with a meth bust in Cattaraugus County on Saturday.

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office says 23-year-old Meghan Kulczyk, 23-year-old Brandon Bain, 25-year-old Vincent Schaub, 28-year-old Brian Mcgonagle and 32-year-old Samuel Mccaslin were taken into custody following a mid-morning drug raid at 3506 Roszyk Hill Road in Machias.

Investigators with the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force report they seized crystal methamphetamine, suboxone, scales, packaging materials and drug paraphernalia inside the house.

The five are charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.

Mcgonagle, deputies say, was picked up by Salamanca Police Officers and held on a bench warrant from their city court.

The remaining were released with appearance tickets.

The task force is made up of members of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, Salamanca Police Department, Gowanda Police Department and New York State Police.
