CASSADAGA – Two people were taken to an area hospital following a head-on crash near Cassadaga on Monday afternoon.

New York State Police say Novecia Zerhonda failed to negotiate a curve on Cassadaga-Stockton Road when she lost control of her vehicle and crossed into the oncoming lane.

Troopers say Zerhonda and a passenger in an oncoming vehicle were taken via ambulance to Westfield Hospital following the crash.

The driver of the other vehicle was treated at the scene and released.
