Police Identify Young Man Killed In Chautauqua County ATV Accident

CHERRY CREEK – The 25-year-old man killed during an ATV accident in Cherry Creek overnight has been identified.











The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says Shayne Matteson was riding north on Main Street when he lost control of the ATV and subsequently rolled over just after midnight Monday.

The young man was later pronounced deceased on scene as a result of this crash.

The roadway was closed for several hours as first responders worked the scene of the crash.

CHERRY CREEK – A 25-year-old Cherry Creek resident died following an ATV crash overnight. 

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says the man, who was not identified, was riding north on Main Street when he lost control of the ATV and subsequently rolled over just after midnight Monday. 





















The young man was later pronounced deceased on scene as a result of this crash. 

The roadway was closed for several hours as first responders worked the scene of the crash.
