Police Sergeant Recognized For Service To Jamestown Community

JAMESTOWN – A police sergeant in Jamestown is receiving recognition for his service to the community.

The Jamestown Police Department recognized Sergeant Shane Swan for 20-years of service with the agency.

Swan leads the department’s Crisis Resolution Team as its commander.











He also served as a field training officer and a police officer peer counselor.

In a post online, the department said Swan, “garnered the utmost respect from his colleagues, exhibited a strong work ethic, and demonstrated exemplary moral character while serving and protecting the citizens of the City of Jamestown.”

Sergeant Swan was presented a plaque by Captain Forster and Lieutenant Piazza recognizing his achievements this week.
