Reward Offered As Sheriff’s Office Seeks Chautauqua County Stabbing Suspect

PORTLAND – The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted in connection with a north county stabbing last month.

Sheriff Investigators say 35-year-old Dimas Rios is a person of interest in connection with the July 26 stabbing.











A $1,000 reward is now offered for tips that lead to an arrest.

Rios, deputies allege, stabbed a person during an incident in the Town of Portland.

Deputies further the victim in the incident sustained serious injuries as a result.









Those with information as to the whereabouts of Rios are asked to contact the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office at 716-753-2131.
