ALBANY (WENY) – New York Attorney General Letitia James says she plans on releasing transcripts from the four-month long investigation into former Governor Andrew Cuomo, including one from Cuomo himself.
This comes as the AG’s findings of sexual misconduct led to his resignation last month.
She says she had planned on releasing the documents soon after giving the report, but it was paused at the request of local District Attorneys who are looking into other inquiries of inappropriate behavior involving Cuomo.
The former Governor has denied any wrong-doing, saying James’ report left out evidence that undermined some of the women’s claims.
The AG gave the news yesterday at the New York State Fair, deflecting questions on whether she plans to run for Governor in 2022.
