JAMESTOWN – Police have made an arrest in connection with a hit and run crash last month in Jamestown.

Jamestown Police say 26-year-old Andrew Pezzulo turned himself in to officers this week.

Pezzulo is accused of striking a fire hydrant on West Third Street at Main Street just after 1 a.m. on Saturday, August 28.

The department previously posted a security camera photo of his Black Jeep Wrangler on social media seeking info that leads to an arrest.

Pezzulo was charged leaving the scene of a property damage accident and moving from lane unsafely.

He is schedule to answer the charges in city court at a later date.
