Police Seek Jeep Driver Accused Of Hitting Downtown Jamestown Fire Hydrant

JAMESTOWN – Police in Jamestown are asking for the public’s help in locating the driver of a Jeep involved in a hit and run crash.

Officers with the Jamestown Police Department say a Black Jeep Wrangler struck a fire hydrant on West Third Street at Main Street on Saturday just after 1 a.m.

The four-door vehicle, police report, has black rims with a black hard top roof.











Anyone who may know the identity of the owner, and/or operator, is asked to contact the department at (716) 483-7537. Anonymous tips can be left (716) 483-TIPS (8477).
