Jamestown Man Facing Drug Charges Following Overnight Fight Downtown

JAMESTOWN – A 24-year-old man is in custody and facing drug charges following a fight in Downtown Jamestown overnight.

Jamestown Police say officers received a report of four people fighting at The Wine Cellar around 12:45 a.m. Monday.











When police arrived on scene, they attempted to speak with a man who allegedly refused to stop and then took off running.

Following a short foot pursuit, the man, later identified as Tyree Holland, was taken into custody.

Holland man was taken to Jamestown City Jail where police allegedly located a baggie with cocaine inside.









He is charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
