Stink Bugs Moving Inside

ERIE (Erie News Now) – Brown Marmorated Stink Bugs are invading homes this fall.

They are known to thrive in the warm months but residents spot them in homes during the cold months.











Since these are warm climate insects, they appear in homes because of the warmth that residents homes give off.

There are 20 different types of stink bugs in North America. The Brown Marmorated adds one more to the list.

They originated from Asian regions in the 1990s and have populated to be considered invasive species.









These insects have no natural enemies so they are control through insecticides.
