LAKEWOOD – The Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team says a faulty electrical sub panel wire is blamed for a fire in Lakewood overnight.
Several fire departments were dispatched to 19 Owana Way in Lakewood around 11:40 p.m. Sunday.
The Lakewood Volunteer Fire Department received mutual aid from Ashville, Busti, Celoron and Kiantone crews. Chautauqua County Emergency Services also responded.
Following a morning investigation, the County Sheriff’s Office says the blaze is accidental.
No injuries reported. The fire and water caused severe damage throughout the home.
