FREDONIA – A 22-year-old man died after crashing his vehicle into a building in Fredonia this week.

Village of Fredonia Police report a vehicle was traveling west on Main Street around 9:20 p.m. on Monday when it exited the roadway and struck a nearby carpet and furniture building.

The driver, who has not been identified, will undergo an autopsy at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo to establish a cause of death.

The building, police say, was not damaged as a result of the collision.
