JAMESTOWN – The City of Jamestown celebrated the holiday season with a parade downtown.

Organized by Collaborative Children’s Solutions, the parade kicked off Saturday at 6 p.m. in Downtown Jamestown with co-grandmarshals leading the way: Jamestown Police Officers Mark Conklin and Jakki Martin-Ahlbin. The two are honored for their life saving actions this year.

This year’s theme was “Jamestown NY, A Diverse Community, Celebrating Holiday Traditions From Around The World.

The parade itself began on the Third Street Bridge and continue down Third Street to City Hall.

Furthermore, several events to collect toys and raise awareness for the county Toys for Tots campaign took place.
