High School’s A Cappella Choir Hosting Annual Vespers Performance Sunday

JAMESTOWN – Jamestown High School’s A Cappella Choir is hosting their annual A Cappella Vespers performance on Sunday.

The show starts at 4 p.m. at First Lutheran Church. Due to seating capacity, attendance is limited to ticket holders only. The show will be livestreamed online at jpsny.org/acappella for those who are not attending in person.











This is the first time the 72-voice choir are back to full strength since 2019. Last year they were unable to perform in-person due to the pandemic.

The community tradition was first established in 1924 and each December since as performed two sacred music concerts at First Lutheran Church, featuring excerpts from major choral works and seasonal songs and carols.

Another performance takes place the following Sunday, December 19 at 4 p.m.
