
JAMESTOWN – Winter weather could cause issues for those on the roads of Chautauqua County on Monday.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 7 a.m. Monday to 7 a.m. Tuesday.
Forecasters expect 5 to 10 inches of Lake Effect Snow to fall in the most persistent bands.
Winds will also likely cause hazardous driving conditions, with gusts up to 35 m.p.h. expected.
Lake effect snow will fall in relatively narrow bands, officials say, be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities.
