JAMESTOWN – The local Democratic Party in Jamestown is gearing up for the fall elections, and kicking off the campaign season with a meet-in-greet on Wednesday night.

Hosted by Jamestown Mayor Eddie Sundquist, the party is inviting anyone interested in meeting with candidates or learning more about politics to visit their “New Blue” pop-up Mixer.

The event runs from 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday to 7:30 p.m. at Brazil Craft Beer and Wine Lounge at 10 East Fourth Street in Downtown Jamestown.

At the venue, residents can meet the party’s committee, interview for local positions, become a candidate, share their ideas and even register to vote.
