GERRY – A man died overnight in a Town of Gerry trailer fire.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office reports his body was recovered within the residence at 4200 Route 380.
At about 2:42 a.m. the Gerry Fire Department, along with mutual aid, responded to the location.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Fire Investigation Team is now working to determine a cause.
During their investigation, the body of the man was located within the residence. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. His identify has not yet been released.
Fire investigators are continuing to investigate the fire’s cause at this time.
