JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Police recovered a loaded pistol and a “large quantity” of drugs following an investigation into a break-in on the city’s southside Thursday.

Officers were called to an address on Crown Street to investigate the situation. Police were able to track down a vehicle allegedly involved in the crime.

Two suspects, identified as 22-year-old Andre Richards and 26-year-old Michael Bland, were later arrested.

Following a search of the vehicle, police allegedly found a loaded 9mm pistol in a hidden compartment, along with 76.4 grams of crack cocaine, 16.9 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 12.2 grams of powder cocaine and 68.2 grams of Fentanyl.

They face several charges including criminal possession of a weapon and controlled substance.
