FALCONER – Spring water main flushing, which was rescheduled last week, is slated to get underway on Thursday in the Village of Falconer.

The Jamestown Board of Public Utilities says the bi-annual occurrence was called off last week due to high water levels.

After further evaluation of their water system, officials are moving forward and plan to start flushing the water mains on Thursday after 8 p.m. throughout the Village of Falconer, with work expected to be complete by mid-day Friday.

The flushing process can be expected to create discolored water in the Village and on the north side of Jamestown.
