MAYVILLE – The Chautauqua County Legislature has approved a local law amending the County’s Worker’s Compensation Plan.

The law changes the county current regulations now allocating 60 percent experience and 40 to wages.

Before the change, costs were allocated at 60 percent experience and 40 percent property valuation.

A push by Legislator Bob Bankowski to phase in the change over two-years failed, with the final vote from the lawmaking body 15 to three approving the change.
