Man In Stable Condition Following Northside Jamestown Shooting

JAMESTOWN – A 41-year-old man is in stable condition following a shooting on Jamestown’s northside on Tuesday.

Jamestown Police responded to shots fired at 1211 Prendergast Avenue around 3:40 a.m.











Officers report a man inside the home was shot in the abdomen. He was taken to UPMC Chautauqua Hospital where he was later airlifted to UPMC Hamot for treatment.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the Department reports he is in stable condition.

Following an investigation, police suspect two armed men dressed in all black targeted the home as part of a robbery.









The men, police said, reportedly fled the residence before officer’s arrival.
