As High Gas Prices Are Now Effecting Lawn Care A New App Helps People Save

ERIE (ERIE NEWS NOW) – The rise in gas prices is now hitting lawn mowers, as homeowners start to cut their grass this season they’re noticing how much it’s taking to fill up.

Causing some homeowners to rethink hiring a lawn care service.

This summer as they cut back because companies like everyone else have had to bump up their prices.


A new app Green pal which originally started in Nashville made its way to Pittsburgh and now to Erie.

Families can freely join the app then local vendors can bid prices on how much they’d charge to maintain their yard.

It’s an easy way to save where you can before making a commitment, especially with climbing gas prices bringing the cost up.
