JAMESTOWN – Another rally protesting the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe V. Wade will take place next month in Jamestown.
The Jamestown Justice Coalition, who hosted an impromptu rally on Friday just hours following the court’s decision, announced plans for the second demonstration on Monday.
Titled “Rally for Reproductive Rights”, the protest will take place on Sunday, July 10 at 11 a.m.
Starting at Jamestown’s Dow Park, a march will head from the park to Tracy Plaza. While at City Hall, participants will hear from local leaders, advocates and other residents who plan to speak out.
The march will then eventually return to Dow Park, according to organizers.
