
JAMESTOWN – A 59-year-old Jamestown man will spend nearly six years in prison after he was sentenced in connection with a federal drug trafficking case this week.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Buffalo announced on Wednesday that Alfredo Diazwas sentenced to 70 months in prison for possession with intent to distribute, and to distribute fentanyl.
The sentencing is a result of an investigation dating back to April 2020, following a search on May 13, 2020 by the Jamestown Police Department’s Drug Task Force.
Recovered during the search was approximately $52,000 in U.S. currency, fentanyl, drug paraphernalia and a 2016 Cadillac SRX.
