Teen Accused In Jamestown Liquor Store Break-In

JAMESTOWN – A 17-year-old from Washington State is accused of breaking into a Jamestown liquor store.

Officers with the Jamestown Police Department responded to the Allen Street Liquor Store around 5 a.m. Thursday for a reported burglary in progress.

Police found the front door of the business was shattered, with reports of a male suspect running away on foot.


After searching the area, officers found a teenager matching the suspect’s description in possession of two liquor bottles from the store.

The teen was taken into custody by JPD’s juvenile bureau and charged with burglary, criminal mischief and petit larceny.

Police said he was held pending arraignment in Chautauqua County Family Court.
