ERIE, Pa. (Erie News Now) – The Mega Millions Jackpot is going for $1 billion now, and people are already rushing to stores to get multiple tickets in their hands.
But let’s face the truth, if you play to win, the odds of becoming an actual billionaire are greater than winning the one-billion-dollar jackpot.
If you become a part of the lucky few, what strategies do you use while choosing numbers?
“I’ll pick six for the number of family members I have. Then hockey number and my old hockey number,” says one lottery player.
“I’m going to do a quick pick because those normally win. I used to put all my family birthdays, house numbers, and all that stuff, but that didn’t work,” says another lottery player.
According to USA Mega, based on the past 100 drawings numbers 7,21,40,3, 58, and the Mega Ball 24 are drawn.
23, 50,54,67,49, and the Mega Ball being seven are the least common numbers.
