BUFFALO, NY (Erie News Now) – Wednesday, Vice President Kamala Harris visited Buffalo to talk about the Inflation Reduction Act, but for many, the deadly May 14th massacre at a grocery store was also top of mind.

At the Tops market, where the deadly shooting happened, customers say they’re still afraid while they’re shopping. They say the images of the shooter and the horror from that day still linger in the back of their minds.

However, Buffalo’s Mayor Byron Brown says with the state’s new gun laws, he’s confident it’ll prevent future acts of violence.
