MAYVILLE, NY (Erie News Now) – His career started in 1967 fresh out of High School and lasted until 2006.
His passion for flying began during a trip to a recruiting office.
He saw a Helicopter poster on the wall of the office and decided that would be his career path.
He told Erie News Now, ” I love the Army and I would do it all over again.”
Pearsoll was 19 years old when he landed in Vietnam.
“I did a lot of growing up in Vietnam, I saw a lot and we’ll leave it at that.”
When his Military career ended, he returned to Chautauqua County and was hired to Pilot Starflight.
