NEW YORK, NY (Newsource) – Rudy Giuliani will not face federal charges after a foreign lobbying probe.
The more than three year long federal investigation into his activities in Ukraine is coming to a close.
Federal prosecutors have decided not to press charges against Donald Trump’s former attorney.
They have asked a judge to terminate the special master appointed to oversee a review of documents the FBI seized from his home last April.
The government was looking into whether Giuliani violated foreign lobbying laws when he sought the ouster of the then U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine.
He also urged Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden and his son Hunter.
Giulliani’s attorney called the decision to not prosecute his client “wonderful, long-expected news.”
