Jamestown Restaurant Featured In Na...

JAMESTOWN, NY (Erie News Now) — We have something foodies will definitely want to sink their teeth into. A restaurant in Jamestown is spending time in the national spotlight on Tuesday night.

It’s called 4 Below, Haggy’s Bar and Grill on East Second Street downtown.

The restaurant is owned by Eric Hagglund and will be featured on “America’s Best Restaurants.”

Hagglund says an assistant producer with the show found him while they were setting up to film in Buffalo for a chicken wing festival.

He says they wanted to showcase restaurants outside the wing fest, and saw what he was going on social media, that’s when he got the call.

The episode will feature his “crack wings”, which came to Eric in a dream. Naan bread tacos, pretzel chips and a candied bacon bourbon burger.

Hagglund says he hopes this experience will help show the world Jamestown has a lot to offer.

“The tv show is showcasing great restaurants in areas that you might not know has really great food,” explained Hagglund. “I have a lot of friends, in the industry, people that have restaurants in Jamestown, I’m just happy my little spotlight can hopefully bring a lot to the Jamestown area.”

You can catch Eric Hagglund on “America’s Best Restaurants” YouTube channel, website and on his Facebook page, Tuesday at 6 o’clock.
