Keeping Your Camper Safe in the Winter

ERIE, Pa. (Erie News Now) — For many outdoor lovers, they might be getting their campers or RVs ready the cold season.

It’s best to completely drain your camper of all water, and fill the drains with anitfreeze to prevent damage to your pipes.

But to prevent even further damage, it’s best to avoid getting antifreeze in your camper’s water heater.

“You’re never going to have your clean showers again for probably a couple of months, because you got to get all that dirty antifreeze out of your hot water tank,” said Ethan Sam, a technician at Boyer RV.

You can make an appointment to winterize your camper at Boyer RV’s website.
