CLYMER, NY (Erie News Now) — Aiden Z Mack faced a massive undertaking in his young life as he battled leukemia. But now, after years of the battle begin, he is in-remission.

After overcoming these kind of metaphorical mountains, it was only fitting to celebrate on a literal one.

Mack’s family and friends surprised him at Peek N Peak, where he worked as an instructor before being diagnosed, and where he rang the bell to signify his cancer being in remission.

Friends and family were also invited to rings bells to celebrate him being in remission.
