BUSTI, NY (WNY News Now) – One of Chautauqua County’s largest manufacturers is projecting a big revenue increase this year.

Cummins Inc. operates the Jamestown Engine Plant in Busti.

They are projecting a 12 to 17 percent increase in revenues. Cummins released their 2022 fourth quarter and annual revenues report announcing the statistic.

Fourth quarter revenues totaled $631 million dollars; 13 percent higher than the period in 2021.

The manufacturing company earned a total of $26.2 billion in revenues in 2022 with overall sales in North America increasing 18 percent and international sales decreased just two percent.

A strong demand across global markets are offset by a market slowdown in China and Russia, which is a key contributing factor.
