Chautauqua County Jail Inmate Accused Of Protection Order Violation

MAYVILLE, NY (WNY News Now) — An inmate at Chautauqua County’s jail is accused of violating an order of protection during a video visit. 

Last month, jail officers were tipped off to a possible order of protection violation occurring during a video visit between incarcerated individual William Tilyou and an unidentified female. 

Following an investigation, it was alleged the 33-year-old participated in a video visit on January 24 with a woman who had an order of protection against him. 











Tilyou was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and held for arraignment on the new charges.
