JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – Two people are facing criminal charges after Jamestown Police recovered methamphetamine during a Thursday morning drug raid.

Kim Nutting and Timothy Blakemore were arrested around 6:15 a.m. after the Jamestown Police Department SWAT Team executed a search warrant at 271 Fairmount Avenue.

Detectives conducted a search of the apartment, and located 10.6 grams methamphetamine, packaging materials and scales.

Due to the living conditions inside, the Department of Development condemned the apartment and two dogs that were living inside were taken by Jamestown Police to a local animal shelter. Officers report the dogs appeared to be in good health.

Both Nutting and Blakemore are charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia.
