Conewango Valley Man Accused Of Driving Drunk Ahead Of Crash

ELLINGTON, NY (WNY News Now) – A Conewango Valley man is accused of driving drunk with a juvenile passenger in his car ahead of a single-vehicle crash in the Town of Ellington.

On Saturday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Old Chautauqua and Hagerdon Roads.

Following an investigation, Michael Miller was found to be allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated.











Neither the 26-year-old, or his juvenile passenger who was evaluated by EMS on scene, suffered injury.

Miller was taken into custody and charged with felony aggravated DWI Leandra’s Law, DWI, endangering the welfare of child, fail to stop at stop sign, speed not reasonable/prudent, and no seatbelt.

He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ellington Court at a later date. There were no other vehicles involved or injuries sustained as a result of this accident.
